Because I have added a heavy-duty varnish to the painting - my iPhone can not get the correct colours - so to let you now this painting is vibrant with a nice depth in the ocean. I'd also add the painting warmer than the photos above show.

I have also added two small details on the horizon - on the left a warm glow spec  - depicting the lights of a whaling port and on the right a gesture of the Essex sailing ship, for those who have read Moby Dick
