This is an oil study of a lobster which was one of many I discovered in the back of a sea food restaurant, hence the slightly darker colours. I later learnt that when a lobster is caught fresh from the sea, it is a myraid of blues and greens that sparkle in the light. That will be my next painting of a lobster.
